Working hours will be 1800 to 0600 on a 4 on 4 off static night shift pattern averaging 40.25 hours per week with 30 minutes for lunch paying an hourly pay rate of £17.98 and additional weekly allowance of £40 irregular shift allowance and £44 night shift allowance per week.

This makes the salary £37,675 + £4575 = £42250

In this role you will complete varied tasks which include:

Diagnose faults and carry out repairs

*

Maintain, repair and service units and trailers to MOT standards

*

Making sure vehicle cleaning requirements are up to standard before MOT service

*

Repairing defects

*

General basic garage duties

What we are looking for:

*

Experience with maintenance and MOT on HGVS

*

Class 1 licence is desirable

*

Demonstrated knowledge of electrical instrumentation and safety compliance

*

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organisation

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

*

Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
