Hydraulic Service Engineer

Location: Covering the North East area.

We are recruiting for a reputable company within the engineering industry who are one of the largest independent design and distribution hydraulic companies in the UK. They are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Service Engineer to join their team. You will play a central role in delivering professional hydraulic repair and parts services to their valued customers. While previous experience in a mechanical plant or engineering environment is essential, they also offer additional training for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver expert hydraulic repair and parts service.

* Collaborate with mobile & asset coordinator to provide accurate quotes and support customer requirements.

* Share your experience with our engineering team to enhance overall service provision.

* Actively promote our services and products to build our reputation in the hydraulic field.

* Maintain the highest levels of health and safety, including strict adherence to PPE requirements.

* Oversee the maintenance, stock control, and documentation of your mobile service vehicle.

* Implement and improve current hydraulic equipment and attend training courses as required.

* Uphold excellent personal presentation and comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

* Experience: Minimum of 4 years' experience in hydraulic systems, including fault finding and operating/testing hydraulic valves, schematics, pumps, and motors.

* Qualifications: Relevant hydraulic or mechanical qualification.

* Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of hydraulic systems and schematic drawings.

* Licensing: Must hold a full UK driving licence.

* Flexibility: Willingness to work a 1 in 8 24/7 call-out rota.
