Works Engineer
Wolverhampton (WV14)
Permanent position 
ROLE INFORMATION:
Reporting directly to the works manager, you will be responsible for the maintenance and the smooth operation of a bespoke plastics ingredients company
 
Main Duties will include

Repair and maintenance of all our tools, production equipment and machinery.
Carrying out preventative maintenance and ordering replacement parts.
Keeping maintenance records on all work carried out.
Arrange any necessary starting up/shutting down procedures of machinery and security of premises.
Install and commission new equipment as required.
Regular quality checks on equipment.
Respond to emergencies, unplanned issues, and repairs.
Ensure health and safety policies and procedures are being adhered to.
Effective management and prioritisation of your workload.
Carry out minor repairs to building fittings and structure.
To listen & learn to the works manager's training and guidance on maintaining bespoke machinery.
Salary & benefits:
£35k - £38k per annum
(Salary depends on qualifications & experience)
Hours of work Mon to Fri 07:00 to 16:00 (1 hour lunch)

YOU WILL NEED TO POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:-

Min 3 years practical experience in a production environment.
Min 3 years experience demonstrating electrical & mechanical repairs
Good diagnostic skills with an ability to read & understand schematic diagrams
Team Working skills to work cooperatively and consult with people at all levels
