Electrical Engineer - Fairham, Nottingham - £37,011/year

4-day working week

We are looking for multiple experienced electricians with a strong understanding of electrical systems. This role will involve interpreting 3-phase schematic drawings to manufacture switchgear assemblies. Working in a team you will be contributing to the manufacture and assembly of cutting-edge components that power innovative power solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the manufacturing of top-quality units for electrical switchgear systems.
Interpret and implement 3 phase schematic and mechanical drawings with precision.
Working to detailed CAD created drawings and schematics.
Repair and modify electronic automated systems.
Ensure maintenance of all company equipment.
Operate machinery and equipment expertly, ensuring seamless execution of tasks in line with established procedures.

Essential Requirements:

16th / 17th / 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
JIB/ECS Gold Card.
Demonstrated experience in LV electronic Switchgear manufacturing.
Demonstrated work experience with hand tools and power tools is necessary.
Strong communication and coordination skills, proficiency in English (written and spoken) is a must.
Demonstrate initiative and precision, adhering to strict quality standards.
Utilise critical thinking skills to tackle challenges head-on and uncover solutions that keep us moving forward.

Desirable Requirements:

City & Guilds 2391 (Electrical Inspection & Testing).
HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering.
IOSH managing safely.
