Job Description
We are looking for adaptable and reliable SEND Support Assistants to provide emergency daily cover for SEND schools across Coventry and the surrounding areas. This flexible opportunity is perfect for someone who enjoys varied work, is quick to adapt, and is passionate about supporting students with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities

Step in for daily and emergency cover across a variety of SEND settings

*

Support pupils with a range of needs, including autism, SEMH, and complex learning difficulties

*

Assist teachers and other staff in maintaining a positive and supportive classroom environment

*

Help students access learning and promote independence and social skills

*

Adapt quickly to different environments and student needs

Required Experience

*

Previous experience working in a SEND environment is highly desirable

*

A flexible, proactive approach to working with different teams and pupils

*

Strong behaviour management and communication skills

*

Ability to build rapport quickly with both students and staff
