EMEA Payroll Specialist - £50,000 - £60,000 + Bonus - City of London

Frazer Jones are delighted to be supporting a leading name within financial services on the recruitment of a EMEA Payroll Specialist to join the firm on a permanent basis.

Our client is requiring 4 days into the office per week (after probation they may be more flexible)

  • Collaborate with the global payroll team, regional HR teams, global benefits team, and finance team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Audit payroll earnings, deductions, and HR spreadsheets to ensure accuracy of payroll and benefits information.
  • Communicate data discrepancies to appropriate team members and third-party vendors, ensuring corrections are made promptly.
  • Submit input files to outsourced payroll vendors.
  • Audit statutory reporting such as P60, P11Ds, DNS, and IRPF submissions, liaising with vendors on annual tax filing.
  • Calculate and prorate new hire and leavers' salaries and holiday pay.
  • Audit new hire records in Workday and shared folders to confirm banking details, tax documents, work permits, and personal information are complete and accurate.
  • Ensure that all employee life cycle changes impacting payroll, such as new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations, are accurately reflected on payroll registers.
  • Assist employees with payroll questions and concerns, handling inquiries and complaints to ensure quick, equitable, and courteous resolution.
  • Develop and document global payroll policies and procedures.
  • Liaise regularly with Global HR and Benefits teams to ensure employee benefits are reflected on payrolls in a timely manner.
  • Maintain familiarity with payroll and tax laws, HR regulations, and other related legislation.
  • Prepare monthly and miscellaneous reporting for Finance and Human Resources.
  • Prepare compensation reports and statutory surveys, including ONS filing.
  • Assist with payroll vendor transitions and data cleansing exercises.
  • Keep accurate compensation records of secondees and reconcile as required against journals.
  • Support the payroll team with ad-hoc tasks, global payroll processing, and any global projects.

Skills and experience required:

  • 3-5 years of solid EMEA payroll.
  • Strong excel skills
  • People person
