Your local Burghfield, W. Berkshire primary school is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who has experience in working with young people with varying SEMH needs from Key stage 1 to Key Stage 2.

• You should have experience of assisting 1:1 or group support of young people in a classroom environment as well as be able to implement agreed behaviour management strategies consistently and effectively.
• Must hold a good standard of education including Math and English GCSE at C (or equivalent)
• NVQ Level 2/3 for Teaching Assistant are a bonus in this Burghfield, W. Berkshire school.
• Team Teach and other similar qualifications are desirable

Please be aware that this Burghfield, W. Berkshire Teaching Assistant post is subject to an enhanced DBS clearance check and any offer of employment is made conditional of this.

You will also be required to register and pay for the DBS update service and ensure that documentary evidence is produced to ensure annual compliance and updates.

Pay: £16,282.50 - £17,550 per year (£83.50 - £90 per day)
