Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Technical Estimator to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.

We are looking for a Technical Estimator​​​​​​​ who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

As the Technical Estimator​​​​​​​, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

The Technical Estimator​​​​​​​, will be responsible for:

* Preparing cost budgets and cost estimates for new contracts.

* Experience in Building Cost Estimates from 33kV - 132kV. Experience & Understanding of UK DNO's requirements (G81) for Contestable Works.

* Knowledge of BOP works associated with Battery Storage Projects (Advantageous but not essential)

* Ensuring consistency across all project estimating and pricing, including making amendments.

* Providing new cost estimates, and maintaining communication with the Client.

* Adhere to company standards and guidelines when analysing and providing estimations; focus on maximising profit and customer satisfaction, while minimising any potential risks to the company.

* Preparing detailed, well-written proposals for each Client, adhering to Client guidelines while offering competitive and comprehensive cost estimates, and including supplementary documentation.

* Maintaining relationships with existing Clients keeping a sales-minded attitude and seek out and build relationships with new Clients.

* Working with the Tendering Manager and Design Team to help with development, innovation, and creativity on Client projects.

* Keeping detailed records of all estimation documentation, including site assessments and contract terms.

* Balancing multiple proposals and estimations at once, ensuring each reaches the Client by the deadline.

* Liaise with other company departments to maintain business development and continuously innovate new profitable outcomes. Occasional Site Visit / Client Visits will be required.

To be successful for this Technical Estimator​​​​​​​ role you must have:

* Experience working within a fast moving dynamic engineering company

* Strong customer facing skills with sales and customer service.

* Computer literate with experience of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook & Estimation software (Simpro) advantageous.

* Valid Driving License
