Assistant Accountant, reporting to FC, part qualified head office role, Kettering, £35,000-40,000

Our client a multi sited company are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their professional head office finance team

As the Assistant Accountant your duties will include:

• Control and maintenance of various general ledger
• Analysis of account transactions
• Purchase Ledger and banking payments in multi-currencies
• Account reconciliations,
• Assistance and input to the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Annual planning and audit support.
• Ad hoc projects

The ideal candidate will hold the following attributes:

• High standards of numeracy, accuracy and consistency
• Proficient user of MS Excel and Word
• SAP ERP system experience is preferred
• Familiarity with accounting to Trial Balance
• Strong analytical skills
• Management reporting experience
• Banking and foreign exchange transactions
• Knowledge of statutory declarations (e.g. VAT, Corporation Tax)
• Capable of organising and prioritising workloads to meet tight company
• Reliable, dependable, conscientious and confident communicating at all levels.
