Assistant Financial Accountant

What you will do:
Working as part of a small team you will be responsible for the following:
- Producing accurate and timely financial reports
- Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Intercompany invoicing
- Process improvements & Project work
- Overseeing Accounts Payable process
- Managing the employee expense reclaim process
- Assisting the Financial Controller with internal and external audits
- Assistance with tax filings and reporting (Corporate Tax & VAT)
What you will need: - At least two years' experience in a similar Finance role within Insurance OR a role within an Accountancy practice where your client base has included Insurance firms
- A self-motivated and organised approach to your work
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships
- A willingness to "pitch in" and help out wherever is needed
- Ideally a Degree in a relevant discipline, and commitment to your ACCA/ACA/CIMA studies (if still ongoing)
