This electrical design engineer role is to be part of a building services design team delivering innovative and creative solutions. They have a broad spectrum of projects from retail and commercial, through to cutting edge technical and sporting environments and residential.

Electrical Design Engineer Responsibilities

* Working as part of a design team delivering detailed designs on a wide variety of projects

* Overseeing and supervising the installation of building systems and specifying maintenance and operating procedures

* Liaising closely with other professionals, including structural engineers, architects, surveyors, and contractors of in-house and external project teams

* Attending a range of project group and technical meetings

* Advising clients and architects on energy use and conservation in a range of buildings and sites, aiming to minimise the environmental impact and reduce the carbon footprint

* Working on a variety of projects both in the UK and Overseas.

Experience and Skills Required

* You will be an electrical design engineer with 2 to 4 years in building services.

* Ideally you will have a degree in a relevant subject or accredited building services degree.

* Experience of Dialux, Relux or Dialux EVO

* You should be an excellent communicator and have a willingness to learn
