HGV Class 1 Driver - Immediate Opportunities
 
Rapier Employment Ltd is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team for our client in Moulton Park, Northampton.
 
Day & Night Shifts Available
Temp-to-Perm Opportunity
Pallet Work

Pay Rates:
 Class 1 Days: £16.00
 Class 1 Days Overtime: £24.00
 Class 1 Nights: £17.50
 Class 1 Nights Overtime: £26.25
 Class 1 Weekends: £17.50

Shift Start Times:
 Days: Between 2 AM - 9 AM (typically 5 AM - 8 AM)
 Nights: Between 3 PM - 4 PM

Your Responsibilities:

Safe and efficient operation of Class 1 vehicles on trunking routes
Conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
Ensuring secure and timely deliveries
Complying with all traffic laws, company policies, and procedures
Maintaining accurate logs and paperworkRequirements:

Must have held an HGV Class 1 licence for at least 2 years
Valid Class 1 (C+E) license
No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
In-date CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
Solid knowledge of Drivers' Hours, Regulations & Working Time Directive
