Infrastructure Engineer | £ 60,000 | Central London | Azure | Active Directory | InTune

Our Client is currently seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in their busy IT department. Their infrastructure team is responsible for escalations of 1st and 2nd line across a range of infrastructure disciplines. You will be working with colleagues in the service delivery, security ad technical teams. The role is a great opportunity to be a part of an amazing team that drives for change and improvement.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Resolve complex tickets across all hardware and software platforms at a 3rd line level.
• Take ownership of complex and technically challenging issues with the ability to produce RCA documentation upon resolution
• Manage multiple managed service providers to drive fault resolution and change on hardware/software/cloud solutions.
• Proactive monitoring and maintenance of infrastructure estate, using RMM platforms.

Desirable Skills:

• From a highly technical background, with experience of ensuring the lights are on 24x7 with only limited and controlled downtime.
• 3+ years of Technical Support experience in enterprise applications that feature data, analytics, & insights.
• Strong O365, Teams, Exchange Online and PowerShell experience.
• Strong VMware and Hyper-V knowledge from basic build to advanced high availability clustering.
• Understanding of WAN, SDWAN, MPLS, FTTp/c, Routers, Switches and Firewalls.
• Detailed and working knowledge of Microsoft Server operating systems, Active Directory and components, including INTUNE, group policy and WSUS.
• Public cloud - Microsoft Azure and associated bastions, Kubernetes, Application Gateways, Express Routes, and Traffic Managers.
