Our ideal candidate will hold a NEBOSH Health & Safety qualification, complemented by hands-on experience.

As a dynamic and passionate individual, you'll be joining a formidable management team that offers guidance and support, empowering you to shape and advance health and safety standards while assuming full ownership of safety protocols.

In this pivotal role, you'll undertake a variety of hands-on operational responsibilities, serving as the steward of H&S matters. This includes chairing monthly H&S meetings, conducting inductions and toolbox talks, as well as reviewing risk assessments, SSOW, and SOPs. This role offers an exciting opportunity for you to imprint your unique vision and establish a dynamic Health and Safety culture/process within the framework of governance, legislation, and compliance

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures in alignment with legal requirements and industry best practices, ensuring regular review and updates.

* Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, hazard identification, and implement effective control measures to mitigate risks.

* Provide comprehensive training to employees on health and safety policies, covering areas such as fire safety, first aid, and manual handling.

* Investigate and report on accidents, incidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and recommending preventive actions.

* Foster strong relationships with external contractors and regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with all relevant reports, licenses, and permits.

* Develop and maintain safety KPI metrics to drive performance enhancement.

* Remain abreast of legislative updates, providing informed advice to employees and management.

* Actively promote a world-class manufacturing ethos throughout the Partnership.

* Ensure meticulous documentation control as per HSE system requirements.

Our Ideal Candidate:
