As a Deputy Nursery Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day operations, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children, and developing and implementing educational programs. The Deputy Nursery Manager will maintain positive relationships with parents and staff and oversee staff training and development. The nursery already has three successful settings and is opening a fourth in Finchley.

Job Details:

Start date: September 2024

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-12pm

Generous annual salary for 38 hours a week: £32,860

Working for a maximum of 46 weeks, paid for 52 weeks

Six weeks annual holiday

Responsibilities as the Deputy Nursery Manager:

Support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day operations of the nursery

Ensure the safety and well-being of all children

Develop and implement educational programs

Maintain positive relationships with parents and staff

Oversee staff training and development

Requirements:

Minimum Level 3 in Childcare or Equivalent

Able to pass an enhanced DBS check

Two suitable references

Warm and caring personality

Passionate about early childhood education

Strong leadership and organisational skills
