As an IT Support Technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our cutting-edge technology systems run smoothly, empowering our team to push the boundaries of what’s possible.Job Summary:We’re searching for a proactive and detail-oriented Office IT Support Technician who thrives in a dynamic startup environment. In this role, you will be responsible for administering Office 365, managing Apple laptops, and leading IT procurement. Your technical expertise will keep our office running at peak efficiency, ensuring our team is fully equipped to disrupt the energy sector! Experience with broader office IT administration is a major advantage and will offer room for growth in our expanding operations.Key Responsibilities:
- Office 365 Administration:
- Manage and support user accounts, licenses, permissions, and integrations for Office 365 applications, including Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Office 365 suite, ensuring seamless daily operations for the team.
- Provide training and best practice tips to maximize productivity with Office 365 tools.
- Apple Device Management:
- Set up, configure, and maintain Apple laptops (MacBook) and devices to ensure they’re optimized for performance and security.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues with speed and precision, keeping our team members at their most productive.
- Implement and manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions such as Jamf Pro to enhance security and streamline device management.
- IT Procurement:
- Own the end-to-end IT procurement process, from sourcing laptops and peripherals to negotiating with vendors for the best deals.
- Track and manage IT inventory, ensuring that every department is well-equipped with the latest tech tools they need.
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams to forecast and budget for future technology needs in our growing office.
- Office Technical Support:
- Provide fast, effective technical support to employees for office hardware and software, including network troubleshooting, printer support, and video conferencing systems.
- Manage and support network infrastructure, including Wi-Fi, VPN, and basic firewall configurations to ensure secure and reliable connectivity.
- Maintain and support office meeting room technology, enabling seamless virtual and in-person collaboration.
- General Office IT Administration (Preferred):
- Assist in maintaining office IT infrastructure (servers, storage systems, etc.), contributing to a secure and reliable workspace.
- Participate in IT projects and new technology rollouts, ensuring that our office tech stays at the cutting edge.
- Help implement IT policies, procedures, and documentation to streamline operations and support scalability.

Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in an IT support role, ideally in a start-up or fast-paced environment. Office 365 and Apple device management experience required.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in administering Office 365, including SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and more.
- Strong experience with macOS and Apple hardware, including MacBook.
- Familiarity with IT procurement processes and vendor management.
- Basic knowledge of network systems, device troubleshooting, and software installations.
- Bonus Skills:
- Experience with general office IT administration (servers, storage, network security) is a plus.
- Familiarity with MDM solutions like Jamf or equivalent.
- Understanding of Windows OS is an advantage but not essential.
- Soft Skills:
