Position Overview: We are looking for a Chartered Engineer with a strong background in civil engineering, specifically with a minimum of 3 years of experience in foundation design, reinforced concrete, and temporary works. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing contracts for large-scale engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage and oversee engineering contracts from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.

* Lead the design and review of foundation structures, reinforced concrete elements, and temporary works to ensure they meet industry standards and project specifications.

* Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including project managers, architects, and site engineers, to ensure seamless project execution.

* Monitor project progress, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.

* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and other team members.

* Conduct site visits to assess work progress and ensure adherence to design specifications and safety regulations.

* Prepare and present detailed reports on project status, contract performance, and engineering challenges.

* Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to maintain strong working relationships and address any contractual issues.

Qualifications:

* Chartered Engineer (CEng) status is mandatory.

* Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in foundation design, reinforced concrete, and temporary works.

* Strong understanding of engineering contracts, with experience in contract management and negotiation.

* Proficiency in engineering software related to structural analysis and design.

* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
