A world-renowned business who specialises in the supply of high-quality components into the automotive industry are currently looking to recruit a Test Lab Technician / Vehicle Technician. This business are developing evolutionary and revolutionary solutions to the industry, launching more than 20 new products in the last couple of years.

Role & Responsibilities:

This role would be suitable for a Mechanic or Vehicle Technician

Reporting to the Test Laboratory Team Leader this role requires the individual to be able of assemble test specimens for test, be able to carry out prescribed test schedules, monitor test progress, record test data and report on test results.

Be able to interpret the requirements of engineer test plans.
Set up test specimens on test rigs for the purposes of validation testing.
Assist in the setup of vehicle brake systems.
Monitor test processes.
Maintain and repair mechanical test beds and test vehicles as required.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Apprentice trained in Mechanics or Vehicle Maintenance
This role would be suitable of mechanic or vehicle technician looking to move into an engineering based role
