The Role
My client is a special-purpose machinery manufacturer and is seeking a skilled and motivated professional to support the metal fabrication division of our business.
This role will primarily involve MIG & TIG welding and operating a brake press, with the potential to expand into CNC and laser machine operation for candidates interested in further developing their skills.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform high-quality MIG & TIG welding
• Operate and manage a brake press efficiently
• Maintain precision and attention to detail in all fabrication work
• Follow technical drawings and production specifications
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
• Manage workflow effectively and meet deadlines

Normal Hours: Monday-Thursday 08.00 to 17.00, Friday 08.00 to 14.00

The Candidate
Strong experience in fabrication shop environments and processes
Strong welder and fabricator with hands-on skills
Proficiency in operating a brake press
Must have experience with aluminium welding
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A drive to learn, improve, and develop new skills
Excellent communication skills

The Package
The salary offered for this position is up to £16 per hour plus benefits to a candidate who can meet all key qualifications and abilities
