The Financial Accountant will ensure the delivery of efficient and effective finance services by assisting with statutory accounting activities and ensuring the content, accuracy, and timeliness of financial accounts.

• Prepare statutory accounts for all subsidiaries, ensuring high-quality standards to streamline the audit process.
• Support the preparation of financial statements in collaboration with senior finance leadership.
• Produce and review monthly balance sheets for all entities, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with current reporting standards and regulations in accounting practices and records.
• Provide training and guidance to the finance team on evolving standards and best practices.
• Accurately complete VAT returns for the group and individual entities, meeting statutory deadlines and optimizing VAT recovery within legal frameworks.
• Assist with internal and external audits, implementing recommendations to improve financial practices and controls.
• Supervision of 2 Accounts Receivable Clerks 

• Solid background in financial reporting and management accounting
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., SAP, SAGE, XERO, or similar systems).
• Strong Excel skills, including advanced functions (pivot tables, lookups, etc.).
• Experience in multi-currency accounting and month-end processes.
• Excellent communication skills with a proactive and analytical mindset.
• Proven track record of process improvement and delivering results under deadlines.
