An unsecured lending FinTech in the UK are looking for a top class lending analytics professional who can manage a small team and help grow their portfolio significantly.

THE COMPANY

This FinTech have stayed lean in the past few years through the tough lending market and are now in a place with some fresh investment to scale their lending book. They have a fast paced, innovative and tech focused nature with a great culture in the business with all teams working very collaboratively.

THE ROLE

You can expect to be involved in the following day to day:

• Oversee the end-to-end customer acquisition funnel, optimizing performance to drive new customer growth while maintaining cost-efficiency.
• Design and refine pricing strategies that balance customer acquisition, profitability, and competitive positioning in the unsecured lending market.
• Utilise advanced analytics and insights to identify opportunities for improvement within the acquisition funnel and pricing strategies.
• Manage and mentor a team of analysts, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high-quality outputs that support strategic objectives.
• Track and analyse key performance metrics for the acquisition funnel and lending portfolio, identifying trends and actionable insights.
• Stay abreast of market dynamics and competitor strategies to inform pricing decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
• Develop and execute initiatives aimed at expanding the lending book while managing risk and maintaining portfolio quality.
• Partner with marketing, product, credit risk, and operations teams to align acquisition and pricing strategies with broader business goals.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience working in unsecured lending
• Experience in commercial, pricing and credit risk analytics
• Strong analytical skills and experience with tools such as Python or SQL
• Experience working for a FinTech is ideal
• A strong university degree in a numerate discipline - will need to be a top degree in STEM
