The role of the Contracts Engineer - HVAC Systems will involve:

* Contracts Engineer position dealing with a range of HVAC equipment including AHUs, air conditioning units, chillers and ventilation systems

* Act as the main point of contact for clients and sub-contractors

* Managing site installations projects from order to handover

* Carry out pre-start site surveys, organised subcontract labour, oversee site progress, arrange deliveries of materials and equipment, H&S audits, site inductions and quality checks

* Producing a detailed project programme of works

* Effective handling of each project to maximise profitability

* Producing documentation to meet CDM Regulations

* Working on projects ranging in value from £1,000 to £200,000

The ideal applicant will be a Contracts Engineer - HVAC Systems with:

* Must have engineering or management experience within the construction industry, ideally with a bias to HVAC / M&E market sectors

* Must have the ability to find and resolve various issues

* Ideally will have an Air Conditioning or related qualification

* Sound understanding of construction H&S legislation

* SMSTS/SSSTS

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

* Ability to accurately complete all paper work and reports

* Full UK driving license

* Must be driven, hungry, self-motivated with a keen willingness to learn

* Must be flexible and adaptable
