Senior Protection Maintenance Engineer - Contract opportunity 

We have an exciting Senior Protection Maintenance Engineer opportunity become available working with a leading utility company working on a Large Generation Station based in Dublin.

You'll be joining the Protection Maintenance Teams in Transmission & Distribution Engineering provide a highly technical protection service, implementation of maintenance & commissioning policies on complex protection schemes across the network and power generation assets.

We are looking for someone that has:

• Minimum of 6 years electricity generation &/or HV transmission sectors
• Proven track record of delivering commissioning/maintenance activities in live operational HV substations and/or power stations.
• Adept in the use of omicron test equipment, particularly in the area of test plan development for protection relay testing.
• Thorough knowledge of schematics, cubicle wiring and functional testing techniques.

12-month initial contract with the possibility of extension to follow with an exciting day rate to match!!
