Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled IT / Computer Science Teacher to join our forward-thinking school in Corby, Northamptonshire. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality IT and Computer Science lessons, while inspiring students to excel in this crucial field. This is a permanent role with the opportunity for additional leadership responsibilities, starting either ASAP or in January.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging IT and Computer Science lessons that cater to students across different key stages.
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth in digital literacy.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback and support for improvement.
Collaborate with the wider teaching team to enhance the IT/Computer Science curriculum and ensure high standards of learning.
Keep up to date with advancements in technology and integrate relevant trends into your teaching.
Potentially take on leadership responsibilities within the department, supporting curriculum development and mentoring junior staff.Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in IT and Computer Science.
Passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students in the field of technology.
Strong communication and classroom management skills, ensuring a productive and engaging learning environment.
Experience or interest in taking on leadership responsibilities within the department.
