Provide Education are working closely with a school in Rotherham (S61), who are seeking a full-time Y2 Teaching Assistant to start ASAP. The candidate must be multi-lingual, and have experience working in UK Primary Schools.

This will initially be a 12 week placement, but will become a permanent position for the right candidate.

Responsibilities;

* Supporting the Teacher in the classroom

* Working 1:1 with SEND/SEMH pupils and running small intervention groups when required

* Acting as a role model to the children

* Providing a friendly, positive learning environment for pupils

* Teaching Phonics to Early Readers

Requirements:

* Right to work in the UK.

* A DBS check is required as part of the recruitment process. Provide Education can support you with a new application if required.

* Strong communication and organisational skills, with a professional approach.

* A dedicated commitment to sustaining a secure and fair classroom environment.

* Safeguarding and child protection knowledge.

* A Teaching Assistant qualification (advantageous but not essential)

* Must be multilingual
