E-Commerce Executive - Biggleswade

An exciting opportunity for an E-Commerce Executive looking to develop their career within an amazing company and highly regarded retail brand!

As part of the Digital Team, you will be supporting in delivering strategies set out to enhance website performance, improve customer experience and overall conversion rate of the traffic to the website.

You will bring with you an understanding of what contributes to a successful website, how to draw insights from website data analytics and with support from the team, run regular tests across the website to ensure that it is as optimal as possible.

Hours of work Mon - Thurs 9am -5pm and Friday 9am- 4pm
Hybrid Working after probationary period working from home 2 days a week

Responsible for E-Commerce KPI's: e.g. Increase % conversion, decreasing customer acquisition costs (CAC), increasing average order value (AOV), open new markets.
Management of external development, SEO and paid agencies alongside other members of the Digital Team.
Proactive in suggesting improvements/changes to be made on the website.
Regular review of website, ensuring there are no issues with products and pricing and promotional offers are accurately updated across the website alongside marketing calendar.
Drive user experience and user journey improvements.
Monitoring of website metrics and acting on the results, ensuring the website is operating as effectively as possible.
Day-to-day merchandising and optimisation sitewide.
Monitoring customer journey using third party software's (i.e. hotjar) and suggesting improvements based on customer behaviour.
Extract and review data using Google Analytics / Ometria to help make decisions across the website.
Tagging up areas of the website where required to appropriately track performance using Google Tag Manager.

Skills and Knowledge

Ambitious, driven and passionate about all things E-Commerce, with an excellent understanding of how search serves as the backbone of online purchases.
Understanding of website metrics and how to interpret data to make informed decisions.
Shopify experience, Paid advertising and SEO experience.
Experience in using data analytics tools, i.e. Google Analytics, comfortable with analysing large quantities of data and condensing it into key insights.
Previous experience with GTM would be an advantage
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels of the business.Please get in touch to hear more (phone number removed)
