Overview
Resourcery Group are working in partnership with a £multi-billion turnover global manufacturing business to recruit an experienced, operationally-focused Senior Finance Business Partner. Reporting to a divisional Head of Finance for a key business unit, the Senior Finance Business Partner will play a critical role in driving cost improvements across the UK.
As a Senior Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for leading on all divisional financial planning, reporting, and analysis to support operational business decision making. The role requires a strong understanding of financial management, strategy development, and cross-functional collaboration. This is a standalone, operationally-focused role, managing a circa £130m cost centre in a growing business. As such, you will possess demonstrable business partnering experience in a similar cost-centric role, walking the shop floor, capable of displaying a keen and robust understanding of cost rationalisation and optimisation, efficiency and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis.
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies in financial reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop key performance indicators and metrics to drive business performance.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with business unit leaders to develop and monitor annual operating plans.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports and variance analysis.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to financial processes and systems.
- Engage in strategic discussions with senior leadership to drive business growth.
- Develop and mentor team members to enhance overall financial capabilities.
Qualifications
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Experience of working in a shopfloor-focsued Manufacturing, FMCG, Engineering, Aerospace, Automotive business
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of influencing operational members of a global leadership team.
