Job Title: Interim HR ConsultantLocation: Remote/HybridDuration: 3-month contract (with potential for extension)Company: A High-Growth Digital ConsultancyWorking pattern: Hybrid, 3 days in officeAbout the Role:Our client, a high-growth digital consultancy, is currently seeking an Interim HR Consultant to support a small but critical people change project. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in facilitating the TUPE transfer of employees, ensuring smooth transitions and compliance with legal frameworks. You will review compensation and benefits packages, set up new employment contracts, and lead contract negotiations. Additionally, you will manage consultations and support key change initiatives related to mergers, acquisitions, or similar projects.Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the TUPE transfer of employees, ensuring legal compliance and smooth integration into the business.
  • Review and update compensation and benefits packages for incoming employees.
  • Set up and negotiate new employment contracts and lead discussions on benefits changes.
  • Conduct employee consultations and support the communication of change initiatives.
  • Work closely with the HR Lead, COO, and local legal teams to draft and finalize new contracts.
  • Collaborate with both the group HR team and the scaling digital business unit to ensure alignment and seamless transition.
  • Potential for contract extension as additional project work arises.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience with TUPE transfers, contract negotiation, and change management within HR.
  • Background in managing people-related changes within mergers, acquisitions, or similar organizational transitions.
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law, particularly related to TUPE and employee consultation processes.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and consultation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across HR, legal, and operational teams.
  • Exposure to fast-paced, scaling businesses, particularly in the digital or consultancy sectors, is a plus.
