Role - Electrical Building Services
Location - Nottingham (Hybrid Working Available)
Salary: Up to around £55k

I am looking to speak an motivated Electrical Building Services Engineer to join a dynamic and growing team in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across multiple sectors, including residential, education, justice, and laboratory environments.

The Role

As an Electrical Building Services Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality design solutions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and managing projects from concept to completion. Your responsibilities will include:

Leading and managing electrical design projects across various sectors.

Collaborating with mechanical engineers and other disciplines for seamless project delivery.

Preparing and managing fee proposals and developing strong client relationships.

Attending site visits, design meetings, and representing the company in client meetings.

Designing electrical services from Stage 2 to Stage 6, including detailed designs, specifications, and calculations.

Mentoring and supporting junior engineers within the team.

Requirements:

Ideally you'll have..

A degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.

3-7 years of experience in electrical design within the building services sector.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and fire alarm systems.

Proficiency in design software such as Revit and MagiCAD (preferred).

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Experience in project management, including working with contractors and clients to ensure timely project delivery.

Ability to commute to Nottingham
