About the hospital: Join a new dynamic and patient-focused NHS hospital in Birmingham, committed to providing excellent clinical care. This Haematology department will play a crucial role in supporting patients throughout their cancer journey.

Role Overview: As a Band 5 Haematology Nurse, you will administer supportive therapies, provide compassionate care, and support patients and their families. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Administering medication and other supportive treatments
  • Monitoring patients' progress and managing any adverse effects
  • Educating patients and families about treatment plans
  • Collaborating with colleagues to deliver high-quality care
  • Participating in professional development and training programs

Requirements:

  • Registered Adult Nurse on the NMC Register
  • Passion for haematology and oncology nursing
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

The Ideal Candidate:

  • NMC registration - RNA qualified
  • Minimum 2 year's experience in a haematology/relevant nursing specialty
