Trainee Contracts Engineer

About the Role As a Junior/Trainee Contracts Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth communication, documentation, and execution of orders. With full training provided, this role is designed to develop your skills and knowledge, leading to a future career as a Contracts Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed order acknowledgements using a computerised system.
- Produce manufacturing drawings and sketches as required.
- Liaise with clients via phone and email, resolving order queries.
- Issue accurate manufacturing instructions to ensure timely order completion.
- Assist senior team members with various projects and provide support to the Sales Department when needed.
What We’re Looking For - Qualifications:
- GCSE grade 6 or above in Maths and English, and grade 5 in Physics.
- At least one relevant A-Level at grade C or above, or a BTEC Level 3 qualification as an alternative.
- Skills and Attributes:
- Exceptional attention to detail with a methodical and investigative approach.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- An interest in engineering and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
