About the role:

Join our vibrant primary school in Hackney, London, as a full-time KS2 Teacher, starting ASAP with no specified end date. This new addition to our team involves teaching Key Stage 2 students, potentially including those with SEN or EHCP, with support from Teaching Assistants. Our school values open communication with parents and prioritizes diversity and inclusion, fostering a supportive environment for all. Administrative support is provided to assist teachers in their roles.

Application Requirements:

• Proficiency in the curriculum subjects taught at this level, including English, mathematics, science, and others, is essential for effective teaching.

• The ability to maintain a positive and structured learning environment, manage behavior effectively, and engage students in their learning.

• Teachers should be able to adapt their teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of Key Stage 2 students, including those with SEN or EHCP.

• Building positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents is crucial for creating a supportive learning community and fostering academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the curriculum objectives, teaching content effectively, and assessing student progress.

• Tailoring teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of individual students, providing support and challenge as needed.

• Regularly assessing student learning through formative and summative assessments, providing feedback to students, and tracking their progress to inform future teaching and intervention strategies.
