Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Compliance and Building Safety Manager to join our team in Ipswich. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional who is passionate about ensuring safety and compliance within the built environment. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a compliant and safe environment for our residents and visitors.
Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with various M&C teams, Service Areas, and stakeholders to ensure all compliance inspections are conducted at the appropriate frequencies and in a timely manner.
Ensure that all rectification actions are allocated, completed to a high standard, and properly recorded.
Oversee the following inspections and assessments:
Annual Gas Safety Inspections
EICR Electrical Inspections for individual properties and homeowners' supplies
Fire alarm testing
Emergency lighting checks
Fire risk assessments
Water risk assessments
Legionella inspections
Lift inspections
Portable appliance testing
Lightning conductor inspections
RIDDOR reporting
Asbestos management
Firefighting equipment checks, including AOVs, sprinkler systems, and dry risers
