Teaching Assistant - Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
Location: Liverpool
Hours: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Hourly Rate: £12.90 per hour

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work with students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) at a highly regarded school in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people.

The Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support students with SEND, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), in both classroom and individual settings.
Collaborate with teachers to adapt lesson plans and resources to meet the needs of pupils.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Assist with personal care needs, if required.
Promote student's independence, confidence, and emotional well-being.

What We're Looking For:

Experience working with children or young people with SEND is highly desirable.
A calm, empathetic, and patient approach to working with students.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
