We are working on behalf of a reputable Insurance Brokers who are recruiting for an Accounts Manager to join their friendly team. This role will look to eventually take on full responsibility of the Finance operations within the business.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the daily operations of the finance team
• Analysing accounting data and producing financial reports
• Forecasting requirements, drafting budgets and projecting expenditures
• Maintaining internal controls and other best practices
• Completing annual audits and verifying accounting information

Skills & Experience Required:

• Extensive accounts or finance experience gained from a professional environment (experience gained from the Insurance Industry would be advantageous but not essential)
• Strong technical and commercial skills
• AAT Level 3 qualified (or above)
• Confident in using Microsoft packages and accounting software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven experience of managing, motivating and supporting a finance team (preferred)
• Enthusiastic, positive, and a can-do hands-on attitude
