Challenge-trg are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients based in Liverpool for a HGV Class 1 Tramper on a permanent, full time basis.

This will be General haulage on Curtain side vehicles delivering within the paper industry.

They are looking for Day trampers who will work Monday to Friday each week, 4 nights out, possibility of a 6th shift run into a Saturday depending on delivery destinations.

Shifts/Hours

Monday to Friday (Possible Saturday running back to yard)

Average 55 hours per week

Salary

£46,800 basic (£180 per shift)

£5,200 Night out allowances

Plus Saturday rates if running back in

What the HGV Class 1 driver can expect:

Weekly Pay

Direct contract with client on a full time, permanent basis

Hourly Pay on a Saturday

The Requirements from the HGV Class 1 Driver

• A full Class 1 HGV Licence held for Min 2 years required
• A valid Drivers CPC Card
• A digital tachograph card
• A full understanding of WTD legislation
• Reliable and excellent time keeping
• Flexible with start times & working days
