Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk - Full or Part Time
Debbie Burbage Recruitment are working with our Northampton based client, who are looking for a temporary experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk. This would suit a hands on and foocused invdividual.
Key Responsibilities:
- Posting invoices to match booking in receipts for stock
- Posting non-stock invoices
- Coding invoices and posting to the nominal ledger
- Obtaining statements from suppliers
- Reconciling statements to the ledger
- Chasing for any missing invoices
- Creating payment runs for Purchase Ledger
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have previous experience working in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role
- Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, ideally Sage 200
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Take responsibility, be flexible with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Possess strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset
Renumeration:
- Salary £25,000 - £27,000 per annum (pro rata) depending on experience
- Hours of work - Flexible to suit full or part time requirements. Max 39 hours per week, early finish on a Friday.
