Procurement & Supply Chain Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key role within a growing company, focusing on procurement and supplier management to drive operational success. The Procurement & Supply Chain Manager position is ideal for an experienced buyer from an FMCG or distribution background who is ready to take on greater responsibility and deliver impactful improvements to the business.

Responsibilities:

* Source goods and services, ensuring the best value, quality, and timely delivery to meet business requirements.

* Maintain accurate supplier and product data in the ERP system (OrderWise) and foster strong supplier relationships to optimise efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

* Identify and onboard new suppliers, support new product introductions, and conduct regular supplier reviews and performance evaluations.

* Manage stock replenishment, oversee inventory control, and conduct stock audits to ensure accurate product locations and reduce obsolete inventory.

* Work closely with teams across Customer Service, Accounts, Warehouse, and Production to ensure seamless procurement operations and provide regular order progress updates to the Sales team.

* Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations, reduce waste, and enhance overall efficiency.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in procurement, ideally in an FMCG or distribution environment.

* CIPS qualification is desirable, but not essential.

* Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

* Familiarity with ERP systems and stock control processes.

* Proficiency in Office 365 and MS Outlook.

* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

* Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
