Our client is looking for an experienced purchasing / procurement professional to join their friendly office, providing support to suppliers and customers, handling enquires and much more!

The Role

* Chase suppliers for quotations / issue purchase orders

* Assist with procurement duties

* Update and maintain database, ensuring it is accurate at all times

* Providing general administrative assistance to the procurement department

* Raising purchase orders

* Obtaining quotations from suppliers

* Setting up new supplier accounts, new product codes ect

* Identify trends within inventory to promote cost savings and process improvement

Requirements

* Previous purchasing / procurement experience is extremely advantageous

* Excellent customer service is essential for this position

* Strong attention to detail is essential

* Excellent communication , both written and verbal

* Smartly presented

* Excellent IT skills including a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
