As the HR Business Partner, you will work closely with leadership teams and support line managers in delivering HR solutions that foster a positive, high-performance culture. This role requires a strategic yet hands-on approach, with a strong focus on employee relations, talent development, performance management, and operational HR support.

Our client is a leading Manufacturing business based in Dudley, offering hybrid working with 2-3 days per week on site.

Description

This is a busy, fast paced, generalist opportunity, reporting to the HR Director. Reporting to a HR Director, the role will partner with a number of sites around the UK, you will mostly be based in the West Midlands however, some travel is required business needs dependent.

  • Strategic HR Partnering: Collaborate with leadership to develop HR strategies that support business objectives.
  • Employee Relations: Act as a trusted advisor on all HR matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and employee engagement.
  • Performance Management: Oversee the performance appraisal process and guide managers on best practices for coaching, feedback, and development planning.
  • Talent Development: Identify training needs, implement programs to upskill employees, and support succession planning efforts.
  • Workforce Planning: Partner with managers to forecast staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Compliance and Policy: Ensure adherence to all HR policies and employment laws, and update policies as needed.
  • Lead on DEI Initiatives

Profile

The successful candidate will;

  • Be CIPD qualified
  • Proven track record operating as an HR Business Partner
  • Ideally with exposure working in a multi site fast paced environment
  • Able to start within 4 weeks
  • Commutable to Dudley 2-3 times per week, but also willing to travel to other sites as and when needed.
