EMBS Engineering is delighted to be recruiting for a skilled Quality Inspector to join a leading precision engineering company based in North Nottinghamshire on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a globally recognised organisation that specialises in producing critical components for sectors such as aerospace, defence, and nuclear.

* Hourly Rate:£16 - £17 per hour depending on experience

* Hours: Days with an early finish on Fridays OR Monday to Thursday Days

Your responsibilities include:

* Inspecting precision machined components using manual measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers, calipers etc and/or CMM

* Performing first-off, stage and final inspection

* Working with various critical components and working to extremely tight tolerances

Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:

* ​​​​Ability to perform inspection activities (both visual and dimensional) using manual measuring equipment

* Experience of carrying out First off and Final Inspection

* Confidence in identifying non-conforming products

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawing

* Able to operate CMM's

* Knowledge of FAIRs would be advantageous

* Strong attention to detail

* Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
