About the role

Connex Education are seeking to appoint an exemplary practitioner for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant with SEN experience working in KS1 or KS2 in a school in Stockton. We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual with a passion for making a difference in the lives of children SEN working 5 days a week.

The school is fully inclusive and provides a nurturing and supportive environment for pupils. They provide a stimulating environment where children can explore and play through learning promoting high quality learning experiences. The school are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team.   

Assignment Details

The role will commence from September 2024.

Able to diversify teaching techniques to suit all students
Able to work with students of varied abilities
Reliable and consistent

Passionate about the success of young people and supporting the local community
Ambitious and enthusiastic with a 'can do attitude' and good sense of humour
Support the teaching and learning of pupils, working 1-1 and in small intervention groups.
Get creative in supporting the individual with their learning journey
Assist with behaviour management
Build strong relationships with allocated students
Amend and adapt planning to suit individual needs
