Are you passionate about engaging young people through exciting, hands-on activities? Do you have the skills to deliver enriching experiences? If you're an enthusiastic, organised, and proactive Activities Co-ordinator with a minibus driving qualification, this role could be perfect for you!

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Activities Co-ordinator to work across multiple Alternative Provisions in East Lancashire, supporting KS1 - KS4 students by delivering meaningful activities and trips. This role is about engaging young people, many of whom have faced barriers in education, through hands-on experiences that support personal development, teamwork, and well-being.

You will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and risk-assessing activities, as well as transporting students using a minibus. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring learning to life outside the classroom and make a real impact on the students' education and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate a variety of engaging activities and trips to support student learning and well-being.
Transport students safely to activities, using a minibus (D1 license required).
Conduct risk assessments and ensure all activities are safe, well-organized, and inclusive.
Work closely with teachers, mentors, and pastoral teams to align activities with students' needs.
Inspire and motivate young people, helping them develop confidence, teamwork skills, and resilience.
Identify new opportunities for enrichment and community engagement.

What We're Looking For:

Experience working with young people, particularly those in alternative provisions or with additional needs.
A minibus (D1) driving qualification - essential for safely transporting students.
Strong organisation and planning skills, with the ability to coordinate and risk-assess activities.
A passion for outdoor learning, sports, adventure activities, and enrichment experiences.
An understanding of trauma-informed approaches and a patient, engaging attitude.
The ability to build strong relationships with students, encouraging positive engagement and participation.

Why Join Us?

This is a varied, exciting, and rewarding role that allows you to make a real difference to young people who thrive in alternative learning environments. You'll be part of a forward-thinking trust that values creativity, outdoor learning, and real-world experiences.
