FM Search & Select Ltd are working with a leading Facilities Management provider who is seeking a skilled and reliable Refrigeration Engineer to join their team, supporting commercial clients across the Yorkshire region. As a Refrigeration Engineer, you'll carry out a mix of planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, and installations on a wide range of refrigeration and cooling systems across commercial and retail sites.

Key Responsibilities

Service, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems including walk-in cold rooms, display cabinets, chillers, and ice machines

*

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance works across multiple client sites

*

Diagnose faults and carry out efficient repairs with minimal disruption to clients

*

Ensure all work is completed to high standards and in line with health & safety regulations

*

Complete job sheets, reports, and relevant paperwork accurately

*

Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner

*

Participate in the on-call rota and be flexible to work overtime when required

Requirements

*

City & Guilds or NVQ in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent)

*

F-Gas (Category 1) Certification - Essential

*

Experience working on a range of refrigeration systems in commercial settings

*

Full UK Driving Licence

*

Strong fault-finding skills and ability to work independently

*

Good understanding of compliance, safety, and industry regulations

*

Air conditioning or HVAC experience would be an advantage
