Kind Support is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Deputy Ward Manager to join the team at a small private hospital in Wolverhampton as a Deputy Ward Manager in Eating Disorder Inpatient Service.

The hospital is state of the art 15 bed CAMHS-ED service that is complimented with innovative biotechnology that supports advanced care delivery. Enhancing the care experience and outcomes for all our patients.

Responsibilities:

* To provide clinical and managerial leadership to the day-to-day operation of the Nursing team, monitoring workload, allocating duties and ensuring duties are discharged safely and effectively.

* To support the ward manager in supervising the day-to-day work of the clinical team, and provide expertise and guidance on the nursing care provided to young people.

* To support recruitment and retention of the nursing team ensuring appropriate staffing requirements based on clinical need.

* To lead and champion the clinical model supporting the development of the rest of the team.

* In conjunction with the management team, recruit and select new staff taking an active part in the interview process Attend interviews for potential new packages of care and support as required with the senior management team Implement induction/assessment programmes for all new service users, in conjunction with the wider management team

* To be responsible for the day-to-day management of the clinical service, working closely with the wider multi-disciplinary team.

* To undertake assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care needs of a specific group of service users.

* To supervise and manage the daily workload in such a way to maximise efficiency, ensuring that duties are discharged safely and effectively. This includes the processing, evaluation and allocation of referrals as appropriate to the team's function, and an efficient caseload management system.
