Our client is looking for a Welder / Mechanical Fitter for a permanent position, located in Aberdeen. 39 hours per week (Monday - Friday) overtime as and when required at an enhanced rate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Build and assemble based on engineering drawings and specifications
Must have TIG, and MIG welding experience, carbon steel and Stainless steel.
Working mainly in small lightweight fabrications to a high standard.
The candidate would be expected to make small brackets on there own initiative.
Should be competent in mechanical fitting, building new equipment.
Candidate should have the flexibility working on a variety of products.
REQUIREMENTS

Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints
Knowledge of codes and standards related to fabrication and assembly processes
Ability to use hand and power tools effectively and safely
This is a challenging role that requires technical skills in fabrication, welding and assembly.
The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, have a strong mechanical aptitude, and be able to work effectively in a team environment
