Role: Metering Data Analyst - Energy Location: Ware, Hertfordshire Salary: £25k - £30k + excellent benefits package

Summary:

We are working with the UK’s only Supplier of 100% green gas and renewable electricity, and they are looking for an experienced customer focused, Metering Data Analyst to join the business. As the Metering Data Analyst, you will be responsible for extracting, manipulating and validating customers energy data and producing reports. You will speak with customers and other industry parties to resolve issues with customer bills and metering faults. Key responsibilities:

• Speaking with customers and other industry parties on the phone to resolve issues
• Managing technical queries surrounding smart meters, data flows, bills, COT.
• Following up customer queries with third party agents
• Extracting, manipulating and validating data and producing reports.
• Interpreting and analysing energy Industry dataflows
• Identifying ways to continuously improve data interpretation.
• Appling analysis and problem solving to remove errors and explain underlying issues/ trends.

Skills and experience required:

• IT literate with database and Excel skills
• Analytical and problem solving skills to spot trends/errors and highlight/rectify
• Experience of working in the Energy/Utilities industry an advantage
• Excellent communication skills
