We are working with a top tier main contractor who are seeking a Site Agent to work in the Highways sector on projects around the West Sussex region on a full time basis. As the Site Agent you will be managing civil engineering projects for highways and structures works on civils frameworks.

Responsibilities:
* Management of site staff operatives and sub-contractors.
* Preparing and monitoring programmes of work
* Provide method statements, hazard risk assessments and project management plans.
* Understand tender allowances and monitor contract costs against agreed budgets.
* Manage design co-ordination.
* Assessment and engagement of sub-contractors.
* Understand and administer contract change
* Inform, consult, and involve local groups as necessary.
* Foster good relations and reputation with clients.
* Promote and ensure all work complies with safety, quality and environmental policies and the requirements of the company procedures.
What do we need from you?
* Relevant qualifications - degree level, or equivalent experience.
* Previous experience as a Sub Agent or Site Agent.
* SMSTS.
* CSCS.
* First Aid at Work.
* Experience of managing civil engineering projects with a main contractor.
* Experience in people management and good organisational skills.
* Full UK Driving License.
