This is a brilliant opportunity to join a successful and growing organisation who have just recently moved into brand new offices in the Staverton area. The IT Infrastructure & Support Engineer supports the IT infrastructure, bridging the gap between hands-on technical support and infrastructure management. This role is critical for maintaining the efficiency and security of the organisation's IT systems, ensuring they meet business needs.

Key Duties:

* Infrastructure Management: Oversee daily IT operations, including servers, storage, networking, and cloud environments.

* Service & Incident Management: Act as the escalation point for complex IT issues.

* Security & Compliance: Implement strong security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls. Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, GDPR, and Cyber Essentials through audits and assessments.

* Network Support & Optimisation: Manage and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi infrastructure. Optimize network performance and plan for capacity needs.

* Cloud & Virtualization: Maintain and optimize cloud (Azure) and virtualization (VMware) environments, ensuring security, scalability, and efficiency.

* Hardware & Software Maintenance: Oversee installation, configuration, and upkeep of IT systems to ensure optimal performance.

* Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain IT infrastructure documentation and develop knowledge base articles for internal use.

Experience Required:

* 3-5 years in IT infrastructure, network administration, or similar roles.

* Expertise in Microsoft Azure and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).

* Relevant certifications (Azure Administrator, CompTIA Network+/Security+ preferred).

* Experience managing IT infrastructure in a global, multi-site environment.

* Knowledge of security and compliance (ISO 27001, GDPR, Cyber Essentials).

* Familiarity with ticketing and monitoring systems.
