Our successful client in Harpenden is looking for a Bookkeeping Team Manager to join their close-knit team of 9. This is a 12-month maternity cover role ideally starting in January 2025.
This is an exciting, flexible working opportunity can be on a full or part time basis - 25-37.5 hours a week. The company work from home every Friday and offer an additional working from home day in the summer holidays!
You will be part of the Bookkeeping team and reporting to the Director, experience using Xero is a must!

Key Responsibilities:
· Helping with general accounts and bookkeeping queries from the team
· Management Accounts and general month end tasks
· VAT returns, Self Assessments
· Year End to Trial Balance
· Reconciling Balance Sheet
· Communicating with the client, their staff and suppliers
What the employer is looking for:
· All round accounting/Bookkeeping experience
· Experience and knowledge of XERO - Sage and QuickBooks would be desirable
· Exceptional organisational skills
· Clear and friendly communication style
· Excellent attention to detail
· You enjoy multi-tasking, managing your time and working to tight deadlines
